Matt Lavoine had a pair of goals on Tuesday but the Franklin County Hockey Association Dillon Chevrolet/Gilmore & Farrell Bantam Green team suffered a 8-4 loss to Brattleboro in a Greater Springfield League North Division semifinal playoff game at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.
Hunter Smith and Billy Woodall each had one goal in the loss, while Chris Phelps, Matt Provencal and Eathon Bryant each had an assist. Trevor Parkinson made 37 saves in the FCHA net.

The Greenfield Girls Softball League will hold registrations for the upcoming season on Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Elks Lodge of Greenfield.
The league is open to all girls, not just those living in Greenfield.
