Greenfield, March 10

7:52 p.m. – Report of vehicle operating erratically, passing in a no-passing zone, last seen westbound Route 2 in Gill. Sgt. David Rice advised this vehicle nearly struck his cruiser and now will not stop. Officer Jordan Zukowski advised party pulled into 58 Ferrante Ave., the address registered to the vehicle. Officer Jay Butynski advised taser deployed; one now in custody. Rice advised there is left-rear damage to his vehicle; requested Control be notified in the event they receive any calls.

Police arrest Thomas J. Letourneau, 39, of 58 Ferrante Ave. Charges are failure to stop for a police officer, speeding rate of speed greater than was reasonable and proper, resisting arrest, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, threat to commit crime, motor vehicle lights violation, refusal to identify self, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, open container of marijuana in vehicle, and possession of Class B drug.

Montague, March 10

7:01 p.m. – Police arrest Barry E. Perkins, 52, of 171 Avenue A., Apt. 33, Turners Falls. Charges are disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Transported to police station, then to Franklin County House of Correction. Bail set at $200, plus fee.

11:24 p.m. — Fabian David Pizarro, 23, of Greenfield was arrested at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, 164 High St., on a warrant.

Friday, March 8

2:38 p.m. — Nikita Sheridan, 32, of Greenfield was arrested at Veterans Memorial Hall, 253 Main St., on a warrant. 

Saturday, March 9 

8:46 a.m. — Jonathan D. Russo, 34, of Greenfield was arrested at 416 Federal St. on a warrant.
