Greenfield Community College’s new president will be among the speakers at an upcoming Family Business Center of Pioneer Valley forum.
The speakers will focus on what can help make a company great, addressing business topics ranging from education to company culture.
Among the speakers is Dr. Yves Salomon-Fernández, the 10th president of Greenfield Community College. Her presentation topic will be “Millennials have taken over: implications for the future of higher education.” Salomon-Fernández works to “help students discover who they can be, continue on their journey, and discover and fulfill their potential,” according to advance publicity information about the event to be held at the Log Cabin Banquet & Meeting House in Holyoke on March 12.
Her talk will clarify what needs to evolve, as a result of 21st century young adults assuming power in our society and economy.
Salomon-Fernández will be joined by a line-up of business professionals that includes Kaleena Murray (employee engagement specialist, Amplified/Telamon Insurance), Bill Grinnell (president, Webber & Grinnell Insurance), Tessa Murray (executive director, Spark/e-for-all), Elizabeth Solomon (researcher/author, Great Place to Work US), Carolyn Lee (Mintz + Hoke Insurance), and David DelVecchio (Suite 3).
