This is an open letter to all those who oppose a “wall” on our southern border: Tonight, when you go to bed; tomorrow when you go to work, shopping, to appointments, etc… leave your doors unlocked. As a matter of fact, take your doors off their hinges, leave your windows open. Let anyone who wants to, wander through your home anytime they want.
How secure will you feel? How well do you think you’ll sleep?
This country is our home and it behooves us to protect it the same way we protect our individual properties. Walls and fences are the country’s walls and the points of entry are the countries doors.
Those who want to come into my country must be the same kind of people I would want in my house. A final thought quoted from Mac’s Fresh Market in Louisiana, “Heaven has a wall, a gate and a strict immigration policy. Hell has open borders. Let that sink in.”
