I am writing in support of Theodore Cromack’s Feb. 4 letter, “Tear down this wall.” Whereas Mr. Cromack has been a lifelong Republican, and voted for Donald Trump, I am exactly the opposite, although I did twice vote for Republican candidates for the governor of this commonwealth.
I agree with Mr. Cromack’s thoughts about building another wall meant to divide peoples, and this time at the U.S.-Mexico border, what it would be most likely to accomplish, and in some ways more importantly, what it would symbolize and say to the rest of the world about those of us who choose to live in this country now, and our attitude towards some who don’t live here now.
And I also agree that we are better people here overall then those who wish another wall be built, with U.S.A. written all over it.
