Three Turner Falls High School swimmers will compete in the Central/Western Massachusetts sectional this Sunday at the Art Linkletter Natatorium in Springfield.
Sophomores Olivia Whittier and Jade Tyler qualified for two events on the girls’ side, and Cam Bradley also qualified for two events on the boys’ side.
Whittier enters as the 10th seed in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 26.89 seconds. She will also compete in the 100-yard breaststroke in the 14-spot with her seed time being 1:17.28.
Tyler will open as the 22nd seed in both the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley after posting times of 1:08.15 and 2:30.40, respectively.
Bradley qualified for the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.52, putting him as the 14th seed for the race. The junior will also compete in the 100-yard backstroke, qualifying with a time of 1:03.56 and opening in the 20th spot for the race.
The boy’s meet will begin at 8:45 a.m. while the women start up at 3:30 p.m.
