Sean O’Sullivan and Bryan Baumann each had three goals on Saturday as Greenfield cruised past Gardner, 11-1, in an independent hockey game in Gardner.
Baumann picked up where he left on Friday against Gardner, when he had three goals and three assists to hit the 100-point mark for his career. Baumann finished with three goals and two assists. O’Sullivan added one assist to finish with four points in the win. Kevin Baumann and Aidan Roche each had one goal and three assists, while Kyle Barnes and Adam Savoy had one goal and two assists apiece.
Cam Rice added one goal, Jacob Bryant and Mike McGoldrick each had two helpers, and Derek Lenois had one assist.
Jordyn Lavallee picked up his first win of the season with 12 saves.
Mahar tops GMS
Petru Cojocaru scored 8 points on Friday but Greenfield Middle School fell to Mahar, 48-26, in a boys’ basketball game in Greenfield.
Daniel Pena added 6 points in the loss.
Greenfield 7/8 falls
Trey Rios scored 17 points on Saturday and Northampton handed Greenfield its first loss of the season with a 44-41 victory in a grades 7 & 8 Suburban League boys’ basketball game at JFK Middle School in Florence.
Greenfield is now 11-1 on the season.
Pioneer tops Mohawk
Gavin Gammell had 22 points on Sunday as Pioneer bested Mohawk, 63-27, in a grades 5 & 6 SL game.
Brayden Thayer had 13 points in the win, and Kurt Redeker added 11 points.
Jonathan Breor had 7 points for Mohawk.
