TURNERS FALLS — The Women’s Resource Center at Montague Catholic Social Ministries is offering free sewing classes from Jan. 28 through March 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

The eight-week course will include guided lessons, free fabric, other materials and use of a sewing machine to all participants. Beginners and women who already know how to sew are welcome. The classes are being funded by a Community Development Block Grant. The goal of the grant is to allow women to learn a skill that could possibly support economic security.

Snacks will be provided.
