A friend of mine informed me that Greenfield’s Town Council was invited to the local library for an opportunity to experience first hand what it is like to navigate the building (and I imagine entryways and closest parking areas) as someone who is disabled… specifically confined to a wheelchair. Sounded like such a great idea. Kudo’s to whoever organized this.
It is always a valuable opportunity to experience “walking” in another’s shoes. There is very little of that these days. Thanks to Otie, Doug, Sheila and Tim for showing up. And to the rest of you… wow, seriously?
