Urges council to endorse library project

The basic infrastructure of any community includes its City Hall, its police and fire station, its schools, and — its library.

When any business or any family is making a decision about relocating to a town, they want to know if the schools are good, if the crime rate is low, and if town services are strong. One of those key town amenities is the public library, a safe and trusted space where we have free access to books, internet use, programs for children, teens and adults, readings from local authors and so much more.

The status of our library is a good mirror into the vitality of our city. I hope our City Council will endorse the library project as an investment in our economic future.
