North County Ecumenical Service set for Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m.

BERNARDSTON — The North County churches will participate in their annual ecumenical service Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m., held this year at the United Church of Bernardston, 58 Church St. A combined choir will rehearse at 1 p.m. Refreshments follow.

The Rev. Calvin Dame to speak at All Souls on Sunday, Nov. 18

GREENFIELD — This Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10:30 a.m., at All Souls UU Church, the Rev. Calvin O. Dame will be speaking on the topic, “Start by being Thankful.” He says, “Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, bar non. And, as if good eating, family and friends were not enough, it is also a shaper of our nation and the baseline of a spiritual life.”

Hanukkah workshop set for Nov. 18

GREENFIELD — Temple Israel is hosting a workshop on observing the holiday of Hanukkah on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will learn rituals, songs and enjoy homemade latkes together. $15 per person. Arts & Activism program set for Nov. 25
