Local folk music veterans Pat and Tex LaMountain have been singing, writing, performing and harmonizing together for almost 40 years, and are now hitting the stage at Greenfield’s Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center Thursday at 7 p.m.
Writers of dozens of songs, the duo has developed a diverse collection of material that includes American standards, swing tunes, folk, rock, jazz, bluegrass, gospel and country. Franklin County residents may know the couple from their Coop Concert performances at Energy Park, starting in 2003.
A Beautiful Future, a trio fusing R&B, pop, Irish and Caribbean influences, is also performing.
Tickets are $15 on the day of the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
