Singer/songwriter Rev. Peterson at First Congregational Shelburne Sunday

DEERFIELD — The First Church of Deerfield (the Brick Church), Main Street, Old Deerfield, will present “Autumn Music and Verse in a Sacred Space,” Sunday, Nov. 4, from 3 to 4 p.m. The program features choruses, instrumentalists and soloists from Deerfield Academy and the choir and Choral Scholars of the First Church of Deerfield, under the direction of Dr. Thomas Pousont. United Church of Bernardston to mark 100th anniversary of end of WWI

BERNARDSTON — As part of the national “Sounds of Remembrance” Centennial Commemoration, Steve and Joyana Damon will sound Taps on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at United Church of Bernardston (58 Church St.). Following that, the church bell will be rung as the congregation sings “Let There Be Peace of Earth.” All are welcome to come pray for peace.
