GREENFIELD — This Sunday, Oct. 14, at All Souls UU Church, will be a celebration of Indigenous People’s Day. David Brule will talk about his tri-racial heritage in “Looking for Judah.” Brule is a teacher, author, historian and is active in land preservation. He is president of Nolumbeka Project Inc., an officer of the Nehantic Indian Tribe and coordinator of the Peskeompskut Battlefield grant project. Music will be provided by Rev. Sarah Pirtle, UU and Interfaith Minister, with five books and nine recordings. The service starts at 10:30 a.m., with coffee hour to follow. The church is at the corner of hope and Main streets.
WENDELL — Women are invited to enjoy a time for prayer and meditation on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the forest home of Shay and Charles Cooper, 71 Kentfield Road, Wendell Depot. At 10:30 a.m., is a gathering for guidance, followed, at 11 a.m., by a silent walking meditation to an interfaith prayer circle, including a sacred mushroom walk offered by Elisha.
