SHELBURNE — Town Clerk Joseph Judd’s office will be closed today, Aug. 23, although he will be in his office after 5 p.m. this evening to check on town board meeting postings. The office will re-open Monday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m.
CHARLEMONT — Nomination papers for a vacant Selectboard position are available at Town Clerk Kathy Reynolds’ office Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Town Hall.

There will be two ballots at the November election, one local and one state ballot. Those with questions may call Reynolds at 339-4335, ext. 7.
BUCKLAND — The Mohawk Trail/Hawlemont Regional School Districts have a redesigned website for their four elementary schools, middle school, high school, and central office.
The new website is: www.mohawkschools.org
Among the changes are upgrades that make the site compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and are easier for those with visual impairments to navigate.
The website was redesigned by School Webmasters of Arizona.
“The site has been completely revamped to streamline access to important school information and have clean, easy-to-navigate platforms which really put the students at the focal point,” said Superintendent Michael Buoniconti. He said the more attractive website “helps to give new families a sense of who we are as a school and community.”
“We really want to hear from our district families,” said Carla J. Potts, the District’s communications specialist. “We want to know what you like about the new sites or what you’d like to see incorporated in the future. We want our students and their families to be proud of their school community and hope the new sites will provide them with an easier way to access the information they may need.”
For information about the new site or to provide feedback, contact Potts at cpotts@mohawkschools.org.
