The Caregiver Support Group was formed to support caregivers in the emotionally and physically taxing role of taking care of loved ones who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to take care of themselves. Moving with Parkinson’s class takes place on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, at the Southwestern Community Services Conference Room at 63 Community Way in Keene, from 10:30 to 11:4 a.m. Moving with Parkinson’s is a class that helps to increase coordination, flexibility, and balance, but most of all it’s fun. Participants can take the class sitting or standing and will feel supported in a safe and comfortable environment. It is open to anyone with a movement disorder and their caregiver, partner, or friend. This class is inspired by Dance for PD, created by the Mark Morris Dance Co. and the Brooklyn (N.Y.)
