4:25 p.m. — A Forbes Court family was displaced by a small structure fire at their home.
5:27 p.m. — Two males are suspected to have tried to pry open a door to a Honda CRV, but were unable to enter into the vehicle in the parking lot of Stop & Shop. Police advised manager for surveillance for the lot.
1:18 a.m. — Carlos Ruiz, 40, of Phillips Streets was arrested on a warrant and charged with a subsequent offense of possession of a Class B drug, resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Ruiz was stopped in his vehicle on Pierce Street.
3:55 p.m. — Meghan Daley, 30, of Hatfield was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B and Class E drug, and for operating under the influence of drugs. She was stopped in the parking lot of the McDonald’s on the Mohawk Trail.
9:39 a.m. — An Osgood Street resident reported about a foot of water in his basement, which he believes is because someone turned on an exterior faucet that isn’t usually used and left it running. The incident, he said, likely happened around July 31.
7:33 p.m. — Kyle W. Grazick, 39, of Conway Street was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and an expired inspection sticker. He was stopped around Conway and Phillips streets.
