Jesse Rice, 38, of Juniper Court, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to assault and battery on family/household member. Placed on probation until 7/11/19, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must attend and complete the Move program. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens. Must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended. Must stay 100 yards away from and have no contact with a named person. Must apply with the GPS unit. Must be in compliance with the Scram program, and must comply with all restraining orders. Pleaded guilty to charge of malicious destruction of property. Placed on probation until 7/11/19 with same conditions, and concurrent with, count one, and must pay $549 restitution, and must pay at least $75 a month. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, but may be waived if restitution is being paid, and if it is paid in full, this may be waived of the $65 probation monthly fee.
Jesse Zabko, 36, of Keith Street, Turners Falls. Charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle, in Greenfield by state police were both dismissed on request of the commonwealth.
Xanthe Varden, 44, of West Suffield, Conn. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of drugs in Deerfield by Greenfield Police. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 7/11/19, with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus head-injury assessment of $250, and OUI victims-assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80, or may take the equivalent program in Connecticut. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.
Paul Forth, 43, of Purington Lane, Colrain. Admitted to sufficient facts for violation of an abuse prevention order in Greenfield. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 1/11/19, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and mental health evaluation, and take any after-care recommended, for either or both, and must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.
Rachel E. Tyler, 19, of L Street, Turners Falls. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended in Deerfield to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the commonwealth.
Vipulkumar R. Patel, 43, of Main Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and uninsured motor vehicle in Bernardston by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 8/30/18 for pretrial conference.
Robert Rodriguez, 51, of Quincy. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and failure to yield at an intersection and failure to signal in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 8/31/18 for pretrial conference.
