GREENFIELD — If you were a fan of tractors, the Franklin County Fairgrounds was the place to be during the weekend.

The Retired Iron Tractor Show took place both Saturday and Sunday with money raised going to the Franklin County Agricultural Society, which manages the fairgrounds. A society representative said the first-time event raised more than $500.

Mike Scranton, the organizer of the event, called it a “friendly exhibition.”
