TURNERS FALLS — The Turners Falls Thunder still needs a logo for their new nickname, but it won’t be determined until school is back in session this fall.
The Gill-Montague Regional District School Committee discussed the next steps for determining what artwork would accompany the newly-voted nickname at its meeting earlier this week.
The committee tentatively agreed to hold a meeting Tuesday, Aug., 14 to review submitted artwork and discuss the design of the logo.
Community members, including students, were welcomed to submit their artwork over the summer. People can submit designs to heather.katsoulis@gmrsd.org or mail them to the district.
