Caleb Johnston had two doubles, one single and four RBIs on Friday night to lead Denny’s Pantry to a 13-5 win over Aubuchon Hardware in a Greenfield Minor League AAA Division baseball game in Greenfield.

Judah Glenn had three hits in the win, while Carter Gerry doubled for his first career hit. Cole Gamache, Arther Fitzpatrick and Camden Guertin each pitched well in the win.

Wayde Bardwell had a hit and two RBIs for Aubuchon, and Nick Prasol doubled. Nico Siano, Jack Laurie and David Knox each had one hit, and Bradley Welcome pitched well.

• Meanwhile, Brayden Arsenault belted two home runs and finished with four hits as Rotary Club defeated Freedom Credit Union, 20-12.

Mike Cyhowski had two hits in the win, while Gavin Arsenault, Jaida Mendard, Brayleigh Burgh each had one hit.

Elias Urquhart had four hits in the loss, and Chase Zraunig doubled and singled. Tad Loud tripled, Silas Muzzy doubled and singled, and Rowan Muzzy had a hit.

• Finally, Tristan James doubled and tripled to help Tognarelli Heating and Cooling to a 22-11 win over Nap’s Auto Sales and Service.

Aaron Morrissey doubled and scored twice, and Everett Connelly doubled and scored three times.

Mason Fiorey had three hits and scored twice in the loss. Malik Moore had three hits and scored three times, and Bobby Ellis tripled.

Newt Guilbault

Ryan Demers tripled, singled and drove in two runs to help Turners Falls Athletic Club complete an undefeated regular season with a 15-0 win over St. Kazimeirz Society in a Newt Guilbault Community League baseball game at Campbell Field in Turners Falls.

Andre Widmer struck out five in the win. Daniel Widmer had two doubles, one single and two RBIs, while Alex Sulda and Matt Field each had a double and a single. Jack Doyle, Alex Knapp and Andre Widmer each had two hits, and Quinton Washington singled.

• In other action, Jake Jurek went 3-for-5 with a double and Pipione’s Sport Shop edged Booska’s Flooring, 11-10.

Logan Addison doubled and tripled in the win, Derek Wissmann had three hits, and Matt Crossman singled twice. Nolan Stafford doubled, while Owen LaValley and Liam Black each had a hit.

Joey Mosca had two doubles for Booska’s. Ryan Cetto doubled, and Brady Booska singled.

Josiah Little and Zariah Zayvey-Nieves each singled in the loss, and Jackson Day struck out four.

Adult softball

Greenfield Co-Rec

Mike Cole had three hits including a home run to help The Hangar Pub and Grill to a 16-11 win over Penfield, 16-11, in a Greenfield Co-Rec Adult Softball League game Friday night.

Joe Guidaboni had two triples and a single in the win, and Josh Johnson had four hits. Vinny Natale had three hits, while Steph Winslow and Amanda Rodriguez had two hits apiece.

Seth Aldrich belted a home run and also doubled and singled for Penfield, while Chris Bowman homered and singled.

• Elsewhere, Jake Coburn went 4-for-4 with two home runs and six RBIs to lead Beck’s Automotive past Taylor’s Tavern, 21-12 at Green River Park.

Scott Curtis went 3-for-3 with a double, and Luis Melendez went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and four RBIs. Jess Bartlett had two hits including a double and two RBIs. 

Eric Bastarache went 4-for-4 in the loss.

Tennis

Clay Court Benefit

The Greenfield Tennis Association will hold its annual Clay Court Preservation Benefit Tournament June 16 at the Beacon Field Tennis Courts in Greenfield.

Players register as individuals and will be assigned doubles partners, which will change throughout the day.

Players should arrive before 9:30 a.m. for warm up and registration and court assignments begin at 9:45.

Entry fee is $25 for Greenfield Tennis Association members, and $35 for non-members, plus a can of unopened tennis balls. Lunch is provided.
