I am writing this letter in solidarity with the teachers of the Pioneer Valley Regional School.

As a recent Pioneer graduate, I am saddened to hear what’s going on and was appalled by the contents of a recent Recorder article. Teachers should not have to fundraise on the street for money that should be in the budget.

In addition, students should have something to do during study periods and not be forced to sit around and do nothing. If they cut sports, band, the arts, and loveable teachers, there’s not much left.

I stand with the teachers in the PVRSD and I hope there will be a miracle to save them from this horrendous monstrosity.
