It’s a shame. The scoundrel whose name is borne by a village of the Town of Montague has finally seen his evil mission accomplished. The name “Indians” (his term) shall be heard no more.
His present day descendants and lieutenants have eliminated the last of the noble and brave Indians of Turners Falls. The last survivors of Turner’s horrific and cowardly raids on the village.
Truly a pity.
