MONTAGUE — In celebration of its seventh anniversary as a gallery, Sawmill River Arts will host an anniversary party open to the public on Saturday.
The gallery will host the “Spring Fling Anniversary Thing,” complete with a gallery reception, free refreshments, artist demonstrations and live music at the gallery in Montague Center from 1 to 4 p.m.
Walt Burnham will entertain guests with a keyboard from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and Jim McRae will play guitar and keyboard from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
There will be demonstrations by member artists starting with fiber artist Chris Pellerin from 1 to 2 p.m., jeweler Sue Essig from 2 to 3 p.m. and painter Patty Hayes from 3 to 4 p.m.
