ERVING — A vehicle was apparently struck and the impact forced it onto its side Friday night, prompting response from police, fire and emergency medical personnel.
The accident happened around 7 p.m., and involved a Toyota Prius and a unknown model Subaru. Injuries were not known at press time, but at least one person was transported to the hospital by ambulance, according to unofficial reports. Erving Police did not return calls for comment as of 9 p.m. Friday.
The accident occurred near the entrance to Weatherheads Convenience Store on Route 2A off of the French King Highway.
