SHELBURNE — Voters will go to the polls Monday, May 14, to elect or re-elect several town officials.

The polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

There are no races, but several incumbents are seeking re-election. All are for three-year terms unless otherwise noted: Selectman Andrew Baker; Assessor Alan Coutinho; Tax Collector Maureen Pike; Shelburne Free Public Library trustees Sherry M. Clark and Allison Allen.

Seeking re-election to one-year terms are: Town Clerk Joe Judd, Town Moderator Sylvia Smith and Tree Warden James Richardson.

Rita Maccini is seeking re-election to a five-year seat on the Housing Authority and Jacqueline Gens is looking to fill a one-year unexpired term on that board.

Allan C. Stevenson is running for re-election to a five-year Planning Board seat.

There are three vacancies on the Recreation Committee, which could be filled with write-in candidates: one seat for a five-year term; one for a four-year unexpired term and one for a two-year unexpired term.

According to Town Clerk Joe Judd, Diana Hardina, Rod McBride and Stefan Topolski are interested in serving on the Recreation Committee. Hardina would like the two-year term, Topolski is interested in the four-year term and McBridge would like to serve the five-year term.
