Lilly Ross, Carly Blanchard and Gianna DiSciullo combined for eight strikeouts in the circle to lead Descavich Plumbing to a 20-7 win over Conte Office Interiors in a Greenfield Girls’ Softball League Ponytail Division game Monday night at Murphy Park in Greenfield.
Ross finished with a pair of hits and Abby Hood singled. DiSciullo had one hit and one RBI.
Yaya Noven and Lydia Wood each singled for Conte while Rosaline Shemp had an RBI.
• In Lil Nippers action Monday, Cobi Tyminski was a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and Charlee Vera had three hits and an RBI in Freedom Credit Union’s 6-4 win over the Purple Panthers Monday.
Destiny Rodriguez smacked two hits and added an RBI for Freedom.
Tayler Scanlon tallied two hits and an RBI for the Panthers, who received three hits and an RBI from Ivy Lopez as well as two hits from Markie Vachula-Curtis.
• Elsewhere, Grace Laurie, Abbi Lawall, Carson Farrell and Madison Lemay were all 4-for-4 as Camelot Carpet Cleaners blanked Harper’s Store, 12-0.
Laurie registered four RBI while Lawall had three RBIs for Camelot.
For Harper’s, Lexi Hawkins, Ava Worden and Sophia Surage all registered hits.
Tri-County League
Sofia Holden tossed three no-hit innings, striking out nine batters, and added a double and two singles at the dish as the Bernardston Blaze blanked Hinsdale Blue, 20-0, in a Tri-County League youth softball game Monday night.
Katie Trenholm tripled and notched two singles for Bernardston, which also received big offensive nights from Nina Holden (two singles), Allison Clary (single), Amelia Keeler (double) and Brynn Mullen (single). Avery Johnson struck out three in an inning of pitching work.
Frontier Youth
Claire Kirkendall had one hit and two RBIs Monday night to lead Yankee Candle to a 4-1 win over Pekarski’s in a Frontier Cal Ripken Youth League baseball game in Hatfield.
Dylan Camp a hit, an RBI and scored a run in the win. Johnny Scagel added a hit and a run. Connor Kowalski and Matthew Scagel each scored once. Owen Babb, Claire Kirkendall and Camp each pitched two innings and combined to strike out nine.
Brayden McDonough had one hit and one run in the loss, and Kyle Begos struck out seven in three innings of work.
• In other action, pitcher Aidan Heffernan struck out eight and had two hits and two RBIs to lead VFW to a 8-6 win over Wilcox Builders Monday in Sunderland.
Robert Slysz had two hits and one RBI in the win, and Kaden James pitched well.
Harry LaFlamme and Nicholas Smiarowski each struck out four in the loss. Andrew Garappolo had two hits, and Garrett Wilcox drove in three runs.
Newt Guilbault
Joey Mosca struck out nine in four innings to lead Booska’s Flooring to a 7-3 win over Montague Elks Lodge in a Newt Guilbault Community League baseball game Monday night at Gamelin Field in Turners Falls.
Brady Booska doubled to lead the offense while Darian Burnett and Ryan Cetto hit singles.
Austin Sumner went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Elks, and Kaylub Peters singles.
• Elsewhere, behind a home run from Logan Addison and a strong pitching performance from Matt Crossman, Pipione’s Sport Shop continued its hot start to the Newt Guilbault season Monday night with a 19-4 win over St. Kazimierz Society at Campbell Field in Turners Falls.
Crossman, Jake Jurek and Owen LaValley all smacked doubles for Pipione’s, while Aiden Dodge, Leo Reiber and Derek Wissmann added singles.
The pitching tandem of Jackson Day and Jackson Cogswell threw the ball well for St. Kaz, which also received a strong performance from Brayden Talbot, who shook off a hit by pitch and stayed in the game.
Mohawk Youth
Conner Herzig and Jackson Morey both went 2-for-3 with two RBIs on Monday night to lead Buckland/Shelburne Padres to a 7-2 win over the Colrain Giants in a Mohawk Youth League baseball game.
Jazzy Hayes plated well defensively at catcher in support of winning pitcher Grayson Bishop.
Landon Purington had one hit and one RBI for Colrain, and Cole Bassett had one hit and played well defensively. Dustin Reade pitched well.
• Elsewhere, Shawn Beckwith, Liam Green and Tanner Jenks all had three hits as the Buckland/Shelburne Padres picked up a victory over the Buckland/Shelburne Braves, 19-6, in a Minors Division game Saturday night.
Jenks struck out five batters on the mound for the Padres.
For the Braves, Jack Cusson had a hit and two walks from the leadoff spot, while Beck Gritzner contributed solid defense.
