Three teams of two finished in a first-place tie Saturday during the 2018 Two-Man Scramble at the Country Club of Greenfield.

Kevin Bagge and Anthony Jung, Brendan Fleming and Steve Zaczynski, and Tim McKenna and Dave Sabourin shot 64s to tie for first place.

Chris Ferriter and Joe Wilson tied Tom Herzig and Matt Matroni for fourth place with a 65, and Jason Kelton and Robert Haigh and Patrick McGuire and Aaron Wheeler tied for sixth with a 66.

Dave Collette and Jeff Laclair tied Ike Purington and Mike Duclos Jr. for low net with a 54. Jon Unaitis and Scott Stacy took third place with a 56, and Scott Colby and Jayme Coggin tied Larry Delue and Brad Worthley for fourth with a 58.

Youth softball

Crocker, Deskavich tie

Crocker Communications and Deskavich Plumbing and Heating played to a 15-15 Greenfield Girls’ Softball League tie Saturday at Murphy Park.

Pitcher Kelly Baird fanned nine in a no-decision for Crocker while teammates Taylor Menard and Lyla Nickiewicz ripped singles, the latter’s driving in two runs.

For Deskavich, Addie Rotkiewicz and Ganna Disciullo belted two-run singles and pitcher Carly Blanchard fanned two and went 2-for-2 at the plate.
