Margarette Howland doubled and drove in three runs on Thursday, and also struck out nine and walked just one in four innings pitched to lead Pipione’s Sport Shop to a 17-0 win over Conte Office Interior in a Greenfield Girls’ Softball League game at Murphy Park in Greenfield.

Josalyn Eastman went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in the win, and Sophia Pinardi went 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Shelby O’Leary went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and Alysia Knapp had a pair of hits.

Viktoria Vassar went 2-for-2 in the loss, and Stella Verlander had a hit.

• Elsewhere, Cordelia Guerin hit a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth inning to lead the Diamond Dusters to a 7-6 win over Crocker Communications.

Guerin finished with three RBIs in the win, while Madison Liimtainen had two hits and two RBIs. Meiki Klempner added two RBIs. Holly Myers pitched two innings and struck out five, and Taylor Greene pitched two innings and struck out four.

Mackenzie Paulin struck out 10 in five innings in the loss, and Taylor Menard had one hit and one RBI.

• In Lil’ Nipper action, Addison Talbot had three hits as the Purple Panthers edged Harper’s Store, 2-1.

Mairen Taj Linnell and Jamie-Lyn Sears each had two hits, and Ivy Lopez played well defensively.

Eva Worden went 4-for-4 for Harper’s. Kayla Cormie had three hits, and Redon Gutierrez had one hit.

Elena Witherell belted a grand slam and also doubled as the Bernardston/Northfield Cougars dumped Hinsdale White, 16-6, in a Tri-County League softball game Thursday in Hinsdale, N.H.

Ellis Benitez had three strikeouts to earn the win. Alyssa Canon hit a pair of doubles, Kristine Given had two hits and three RBIs, and Ashlyn Chapin had a nice catch at short and played well defensively.

Daytona Boyd and Renee Crosby each pitched two innings for Hinsdale and each player struck out three. Crosby doubled at the plate, while Boyd and Emily Bills each singled.

Frontier Cal Ripken

Owen Babb had two doubles, a triple and four RBIs on Thursday night to lead Yankee Candle to a 15-4 win over VFW in a Frontier Cal Ripken baseball game in Conway.

Dylan Camp hit a two-run triple in the win, and Connor Kowalski hit a two-run single. Shawn Baumann had two hits and two RBIs.

Johnny Scagel and Claire Kirkendall each pitched two innings and combined to strike out nine. Mason Thornton closed the game.

Aiden Heffernan doubled and drove in two runs for VFW, and Robert Slysz doubled and singled. CJ Hannum and Kaden James each added a hit.
