ERVING — Most candidates in this year’s town election are running for re-election for their positions.
Erving’s annual town election will take place Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Town Hall at 12 East Main St. Thirteen positions are open for voting.
Jacob A. Smith, of 14 High St., is running for re-election as selectman for a three-year term.
Daniel B. Hammock, of 16 Wheelock St., is running for a three-year term as assessor and a three-year term as constable. He is running for re-election for both positions.
Richard W. Newton, of 9 Lester St., is running for re-election as town clerk. This position is a three-year term.
Richard K. Peabody, of 79 Old State Road, is running for re-election as moderator, which is a one-year term.
David L. Chagnon Jr., of 11 Gunn St., is running for re-election for a three-year seat in the School Committee. Voters may vote for up to two candidates for School Committee this year, but Chagnon is the only official name on the ballot.
Brian N. Guerin, of 139 Northfield Road, is also running for re-election for School Committee. This seat is a two-year seat.
Jennifer L. Eichorn, of 21 River Road, is running for re-election for a one-year seat in the School Committee.
Michael J. Gordon, of 21 River Road, is running for a one-year term as tree warden.
Son Hui May, of 16 Mountain Road, is running for re-election for a three-year term on the Planning Board.
Michael J. Gralenski, of 100 Northfield Road, is running for re-election for a three-year term on the Board of Health.
Two positions are write-in only: a three-year term for a library trustee and a three-year term for a seat on the RecreationCommission.
