TURNERS FALLS — A seat for Montague’s Board of Health has the only contest in the annual town election on May 21.
Democrat Christopher Boutwell of 28 Sunset Drive is running for re-election against Democrat Melanie Zamojski of 33 O St. for the three-year Board of Health seat. Boutwell is a Montague selectman.
Richard Kuklewicz of 66 Oakman St. is running for re-election for a three-year Selectboard seat. He is not enrolled in a specific political party and the seat is uncontested.
Vying for the uncontested town moderator position is Christopher Collins of 703 Fairway Ave. He is also not enrolled in a specific political party. Town moderators hold their position for three years.
Democrat Ann Cenzano of 7 George Ave. is running uncontested for the three-year assessor position.
Running for Public Library Board of Trustees are Gretchen Wetherby of 14 Bridge St. and Patricia Perham of 93 East Taylor Hill Road. Both incumbents are unenrolled in a political party, and voters may vote for up to three candidates for this three-year position.
Karen Casey-Chretien of 27 Union St. is running uncontested for re-election of the five-year Montague Housing Authority seat. She is a Democrat.
Barbara Kuklewicz of 3 Highland Circle, also a Democrat, is running for re-election of her Parks and Recreation commission position. This seat is held for three years.
The non-veteran running for the three-year seat on the Soldiers Memorial Trustees is Democrat Donald Girard of 76 Dell St., and the veteran incumbent is Albert Cummings Jr. of 9 K St. Both are running for re-election.
In addition to voting for candidates, residents will have a chance to vote on an override of tax cap law Proposition 2½ in order to pay for a $11.2 million Montague public works facility.
Voters can cast votes for no more than seven town meeting members in each precinct, but no more than seven people are on the ballot for each of the six precincts.

Marlyn Reynolds of 62 East Taylor Hill Road.

Malcolm Clark of 6 Whitney’s Way. Running for re-election.
Susan McQuaid of 130 Chestnut Hill Loop. Running for re-election.
Judith Lorei of 7 North St.
Also, Mark Fairbrother of 129 Meadow Road is running for a one-year town meeting member seat for Precinct 1.

Today is the last day to register to vote for the upcoming annual town election. Registration will be held at the Town Clerk’s Office for all Montague residents who will be 18 years old on or before today.
