Saturday, May 5, is town election day and Proposition 2½ override day. Please vote whether you are for or against the tax cap override. Town elections themselves are typically one candidate’s only day.
The last override election vote had a 20 percent voter turnout. In our increasingly, individualistic society, voting is one of last remnants of civic and community participation.
