GREENFIELD — With a growing desire for gluten-free options nationwide, the Franklin Regional Council of Government’s Cooperative Public Health Service is hosting a workshop for restaurants and the public on easy, “gluten-free menu makeovers” with organic cook and author, Leslie Cerier.
The workshop will be held Tuesday night from 6 to 9 in the Allen Meeting Room at the Olver Transit Center. Learn how to stock and store essential gluten-free ingredients, get a refresher on food safety, including how to avoid cross-contamination of gluten and gluten-free foods, and get recipes for quick breakfast pastries, soups and salads and main courses.
