BUCKLAND — The Mohawk Trail Regional High School turns 50 this year, and there will be a meeting to plan for a celebration on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Conference Room. Bring your ideas.
SHELBURNE FALLS — The 22nd annual auction/fundraiser for the Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association will be held Saturday, April 7, at the Shelburne-Buckland Community Center, beginning at 6 p.m.
The event provides a chance to gather with neighbors to enjoy food from local restaurants, live music, and to bid on local goods, services, and fine arts and crafts items from the community.
Proceeds benefit the business association and the creative economy of the West County towns. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door; they provide admission to the event, a free drink and appetizers from Blue Rock, Berkshire Pizzeria, Elmer’s and Hearty Eats, as well as desserts from Baked and Mo’s Fudge Factor.

ROWE — Conservation Commissioner Virginia Gabert has received a certificate of achievement for completing eight units of the Fundamentals for Conservation Commissioners training program, offered through the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions.
The program provides conservation commissioners with basic knowledge to address issues under the Wetlands Protection Act and for open space planning and protection.
