HAWLEY — A community broadband briefing session will be held Thursday, March 29, for Hawley, Monroe, Savoy and Florida residents at the Hawlemont Regional School, beginning at 6 p.m.
Brian Foucher, president of WiValley high-speed internet service and Fred Golstein of the Interisle Consulting Group will make a broadband presentation, followed by discussion to include: how the fixed wireless internet service works, how much it will cost to hook up and use, expected performance, and when will towns receive service.
The meeting is sponsored by the Hawley Communications Committee, with support from Hawley and Savoy selectboards.
