LEYDEN — Candidates for the Town Election ballot were nominated in a caucus held last week.
The only contested race is for a five-year term on the Planning Board. The incumbent Robert Snow is challenged by Peter Tusinsk.
Marcia Miller is running unopposed for a three-year term on the Board of Health, an seat which is currently vacant.
The election will be held May 19 at Leyden Town Hall, 16 West Leyden Road.
All candidates are:
Katherine DiMatteo (one-year term as moderator); Jeffrey Neipp (selectman, three-year term); Richard DiMatteo (library trustee, three-year term); Robert Snow, Peter Tusinsk (Planning Board, one five-year term); Marcia Miller (Board of Health, three-year term); Nikolas Adamski (constable, three-year term); Nicole Glabach (town clerk, three-year term); David Brooks (tree warden, one-year term); and Kenneth Spatcher (assessor, three-year term).
