ASHFIELD — Wednesday’s court hearing for Wallace Ramirez of Ashfield has been continued to Dec. 4 in Queens, N.Y.

Ramirez, 44, is awaiting the outcome on charges stemming from a collision that killed a 1-year-old child.

In March, Ramirez was arraigned on charges of failing to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian and of failing to exercise due care in the collision that killed Skylar Perkins, who was in a stroller being pushed by her mother at the time of the crash.

Ramirez was making a right-hand turn in his Dodge Ram pickup truck when he struck the stroller and child.
