Tyssen LaBombard cruised to victory by more than a minute, and host Greenfield High School swept a Pioneer North tri-meet Tuesday at Highland Park.
LaBombard traversed the 3.1-mile course in 20 minutes, 7 seconds, to help the Green Wave to a 15-50 win over Pioneer Valley Regional School and a 19-42 win over McCann Technical School.
Dylan Roy was the runner-up in 21:29 for Greenfield, while Marco Balan took third overall in 22:03.

Mahar 19, Westfield Tech 40 — Carsten Carey was one of four Frontier Regional School runners to finish among the top six overall and the Red Hawks went on to sweep a cross country quad meet Tuesday afternoon at Stanley Park in Westfield.
Frontier defeated Mahar Regional School (16-43), Palmer High School (23-34) and Westfield Vocational Technical High School (16-47). Mahar went 1-2 on the day, falling to Palmer (19-37), but defeating Westfield Tech (19-40).
Carey won the 3.1-mile race in 18:30, while teammate Ben Litskoski was third overall in 19:33. Peter Carey was fifth in 19:47, and Alex Sharp came in sixth in 20:36. Brandyn Robinson finished 10th overall in 20:58.
Ash Shaw finished eighth overall in 20:44 to pace Mahar on the day.
Mohawk 17, Hamp Charter 43
Mohawk 22, Smith Voke 34 — Dennis Simmons, Cullen Brown and Guy Rice-Lesure took the top three spots Tuesday to lead Mohawk Trail Regional High School to a pair of boys’ cross country wins in Buckland.
Simmons won the 2.55-mile race in 16:15, while Brown was three seconds back to finish second. Rice-Lesure was third in 17:34. Sean O’Dea came in eighth for Mohawk in 19:34, and Henry Jones took 10th in 21:19.
FC Tech 20, St. Mary’s 35
Hopkins 22, FC Tech 34
Hopkins 16, St. Mary’s 43 — Sohan Tyner breezed to victory, helping Franklin County Technical School to a tri-meet split with St. Mary’s Parish School (20-35) and Hopkins Academy (22-34) Tuesday in Turners Falls.
Tyner finished first overall in the 3.1-mile course with a time of 19:05 for the Eagles, while teammates Martin Given (fifth, 21:22), Scott Martin (ninth, 23:15) and Liam Berry (10th, 26:37) all scored inside the top 10.
The Eagles travel to Gateway Regional High School for a tri-meet that also features Mohawk on Tuesday.
Greenfield 15, Pioneer 50
Greenfield 15, McCann Tech 50 — Amy O’Sullivan’s time of 21:22 put her atop the field Tuesday, leading Greenfield High School to a Pioneer North sweep of McCann Technical School and Pioneer Valley Regional School in girls’ cross country action Tuesday at Highland Park.
Jamie Day finished second for Greenfield with a time of 21:58, while teammates Courtney Danielsen (third, 23:38), Jenna Silk (fourth, 24:20), Eva Heath (fifth, 27:06), Johanna Guiod (sixth, 27:25) and Morghan Blanchard (seventh, 28:02) rounded out the top seven spots. The Wave beat both Pioneer and McCann Tech by 15-50 scores.
Pioneer was paced by Bridget Kenney, who cracked the top 10 thanks to a ninth-place finish (29:05).
Frontier 16, Palmer 47 — Frontier’s first four runners crossed the finish line ahead of the field and the Red Hawks went on to dump Palmer High School, 16-47, in a girls’ meet Tuesday at Stanley Park in Westfield.
Fiona Ferry won the 3.1-mile race in 24:03, followed by Greyson Young in 24:14. Emily Laus was third in 25:50, and Skyler Dennie was fourth in 26:27. Fiona Howes came in eighth in 27:44, Lia Vichi was ninth in 27:53, and Adrienne Joseph was 10th in 28 minutes.
Mohawk 24, Hampden Charter 32
Mohawk 15, Smith Voke 44 — Meghan Davis crushed the rest of the field Tuesday and Mohawk defeated both Hampden Charter School (24-32) and Smith Voke (15-44) in a girls’ meet in Buckland.
Davis won the 2.55-mile race in 17:02, more than two minutes faster than anyone else. Erica Szewczyk came in third for Mohawk in 21:15, and Caitlin Upton was fourth in 22:17. Carli Cussamano was seventh in 24:04, and Kaitlyn Bisnette finished ninth in 25:11.
