Ben Litskoski traversed the 2.75-mile course in 16 minutes, 3 seconds to finish first overall and lead Frontier Regional School to a tri-meet sweep over independent foes Gateway Regional High School (18-41) and St. Mary’s Parish School (16-47) Tuesday in South Deerfield.
Carsten Carey was next across the line for Frontier (4-0), finishing with an identical time of 16:03, while Peter Carey was third overall, a second behind at 16:04. Dan Dejnak (fifth, 16:42), Ben Roberts (eighth, 17:47) and George Balis (10th, 17:52) all earned top 10 finishes for the Red Hawks.

Greenfield 22, Palmer 39
Hopkins 20, Greenfield 35 — Tyssen LaBombard crossed the finish line in 19:05 to win the race and help Greenfield High School to a 2-1 record during an independent boys’ cross country meet Tuesday in Northampton.
Greenfield defeated Smith Vocational & Agricultural High School (23-35) and Palmer High School (22-39), and lost to Hopkins Academy (20-35).
LaBombard won the race for the Green Wave but Greenfield did not have another runner in the top 10 overall until Dylan Roy placed eighth in 20:32.
Alex Locher came in second overall for Hopkins in 19:27, and Jack Baker of Palmer was third in 19:57. Hopkins placed the next four runners, including Owen Taravella and John Hanscomb, who took fourth and fifth overall in 20:12.
Mahar 25, Mohawk 31
Monson 20, Mohawk 40
Monson 21, Mahar 36 — Ash Shawn and Sebastian Shaw came in fifth and seventh overall Tuesday and Mahar Regional School earned a split of a boys’ cross country tri-meet in Monson.
The Senators defeated Mohawk Trail Regional High School (25-31) but lost to host Monson (21-36). Ash Shaw was fifth in 21:09, while Sebastian Shaw was seventh in 21:20. Thor Mead took ninth in 21:36, and Aidan DiDonato took 10th overall in 21:37.
Dennis Simmons was the top finisher for Mohawk, taking third place overall in 20:47. Cullen Brown finished sixth in 21:11.
FC Tech 26, Westfield Tech 29
Granby 26, FC Tech 33 — Sohan Tyner took first place in a time of 20:03 for Franklin County Technical School to help the Eagles split a boys’ cross country tri-meet Tuesday in Granby.
Tyner’s time in the 3.1-mile race helped the Eagles to a 26-29 win over Westfield Technical Academy. Franklin County suffered a 26-33 loss to Granby High School.
Andrew Hutchinson finished second overall for Granby in 20:05, while Martin Given of Franklin Tech was third in 20:57. Scott Martin of the Tech School was seventh in 22:15.
Frontier 15, Gateway 50
Frontier 18, St. Mary’s 45 — Greyson Young and Fiona Ferry went 1-2 overall, and Frontier Regional School dominated an independent tri-meet with victories over Gateway Regional High School (15-50) and St. Mary’s Parish School (18-45) in girls’ cross country action Tuesday in South Deerfield.
Young’s time of 19:34 put her first overall in the 2.75-mile course, while Ferry was close behind in second place at 19:55.
Emily Laus was fourth for Frontier (4-0) in 21:09, followed by teammates Angelina Egland (fifth, 21:19), Adrienne Josephs (sixth, 21:29), Skyler Dennie (seventh, 21:45), Fiona Howes (eighth, 22:08) and Lia Vichi (ninth, 22:09).

Greenfield 15, Palmer 50
Greenfield 15, Hopkins 50 — Greenfield placed the top five runners and swept a girls’ cross country quad meet Tuesday in Northampton.
The Green Wave defeated Smith Voke, Palmer and Hopkins by an identical 15-50 score.
Amy O’Sullivan won the 3.1-mile race in 20:56 to beat the rest of the field by nearly a minute. Jamie Day came in second in 21:47, and Courtney Danielsen took third in 22:43. Jenna Silk was fourth in 23:35, and Eva Heath was fifth in 25:45. Johanna Guiod took 10th in 27:43.
Monson 28, Mohawk 29 — Meghan Davis came three seconds away from setting another course record but the Mohawk junior had to settle for first place Tuesday as her Warriors suffered a 28-29 loss to Monson in an independent girls’ cross country meet in Monson.
Davis won the 3.1-mile race in 21:03 to nearly beat the rest of the field by three minutes. Teammate Hollie Keysen-Parker was second in 24:00, and Erica Szewczyk came in sixth for Mohawk in 26:19. Caitlin Upton took eighth in 27:15.
