BERNARDSTON – The Powers Institute Museum, located at 20 Church St., will be open Sunday, Aug. 6, from 1 to 4 p.m. showcasing albums of old postcards relating to Bernardston.
According to a press release from Louella Atherton, president of the Bernardston Historical Society, the postcards are a new acquisition for the museum, which is located on the building’s second floor. Attendants Ingrid Skiff and Helen Staiger will assist guests looking for particular items.
NORTHFIELD – Dickinson Memorial Library’s “Rock-Paper-Scissors Baseball” event, which was scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 to 11 a.m., has been canceled due to anticipated thunderstorms.
