TURNERS FALLS — Two people were taken to the hospital after an accident on Unity Street in Montague on Monday. 

Lt. Chris Bonnett of the Montague Police Department said that two cars were involved in the accident, which happened around 2 p.m. He said the two drivers who were transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center for minor injuries, as a precaution. 

Traffic was diverted through Park Street for about 30 minutes Monday afternoon.
