WARWICK — The Warwick Free Public Library presents The Toe Jam Puppet Band at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, in Town Hall.
Tom Poitras and Vinny Lovegrove make up the band, which was formed in 2000, according to the band’s website. They offer hands-on children’s entertainment through original songs, shadow puppetry and storytelling, and encourage children and parents to sing along and dance.
BERNARDSTON — Townline Ice Cream, located at 37 Bernardston Road, is holding its first outdoor movie night of the season on Friday, June 30, starting at 8:30 p.m.
The event is free to attend and offers free popcorn, but will be canceled in the event of rain, according to the event’s Facebook page. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on, and Townline Ice Cream will stay open late to serve food and ice cream, including fried dough, which will be one of the specials.
The event is sponsored by the Bernardston Kiwanis Club and Chase’s DJ Service.
