CONWAY — The 250th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing this weekend, and organizers are anticipating a big crowd. Live music and other activities on the ball field starts Friday evening at 5 p.m., with fireworks shooting off around 9 p.m. Then, Saturday and Sunday, the entire downtown will be host to a plethora of events — including a ‘living history’ encampment in Pumpkin Hollow and a parade from the covered bridge Sunday.
To that end, the town’s website has a list of parking locations, noting “there will be shuttles running from all parking areas to the event locations.” Those locations are: the town office back lot; Bovio’s field across from the Conway Inn; Ives Road, west of the fire station on Route 116; Pleasant Street behind the Old Grammar School; Decker’s field on Route 116; Conway Grammar School; and Emerson Hollow off Shelburne Falls Road.
