SOUTH DEERFIELD — The Water Supply District is under new management following elections earlier this year.
Before the April 26 election all three of the district’s now-former water commissioners, Steven Baranoski, William Hamer and Christopher Sacco, resigned.
In their stead, new Commissioners Timothy Moynihan, Louis Misiun and R. David Wells were elected.
District Superintendent Roger Sadoski noted that the three former commissioners left their offices because of personal reasons, a few retiring from public service altogether.
Sadoski, who has previously expressed an interest in retiring but stayed on because a suitable replacement couldn’t be found, said the district is “still looking for employees.”
According to the town’s website, the Water District meets the second and fourth Monday of each month.
