Conway’s much anticipated 250th Anniversary Celebration is coming up fast. Festivities start this Friday with a series of short comedy plays, and continues next week with many activities through the June 10th weekend.
Organizers anticipate the free event will be a lot bigger than the town’s annual Festival of the Hills, and are preparing accordingly.
The Recorder is preparing as well, dedicating the Arts and Culture section almost exclusively to 250th coverage.
Editor George Forcier sat down with southern Franklin County Reporter Andy Castillo, who so far has been doing most of the leg work to give our readers an inside look on that preparation.
