Greenfield, May 26

3:23 a.m. — A traffic stop at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Federal Street resulted in the arrest of Michael J. Hogan, Jr., 24, of 2014 Maple St. in Three Rivers. Hogan, who was driving a black 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass, was charged with driving after his license was revoked, refusing to identify himself and a vehicle lights violation. The car was towed and Hogan’s bail was set at $500 plus a fee.

4:01 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at McDonald’s, located at 208 Mohawk Trail, between a gray 2016 Subaru Forester and a green 2002 Toyota RAV4.

8:55 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred near the Mobil gas station, located at 142 Mohawk Trail, between a brown 2007 Lincoln MKZ and a blue 2004 Ford pickup. The Ford rear-ended the Lincoln at the rotary off-ramp from Interstate 91 northbound. The vehicles sustained minor damage.

11:37 p.m. — A caller at Main Street Bar & Grille claimed there was a white woman in her mid-20s wearing a black tank top and blue jeans laying in the middle of the street. The caller said the woman was intoxicated, and the Fire Department confirmed the story in a later call. When officers arrived, the woman was out of the roadway and had arranged for a friend to take her home.

Greenfield, May 27

1:03 a.m. — After satisfactory bar checks at The Root Cellar, The Red Door and Smitty’s Pub, officers entered Taylor’s Tavern, located at 238 Main St. They were informed by a patron there were a lot of underage people inside the bar drinking, and officers noticed about 10 to 15 people hurry out the back of the bar. The individuals ran onto Chapman Street, but another officer was unable to locate them. The bartender said she didn’t believe she had served anyone under 21 as she had been checking IDs, but didn’t notice if those people had handed the drinks to others. She was advised to pay closer attention to where the drinks go, and an officer plans to follow-up with the alcohol commission.

2:45 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at the intersection of Mohawk Trail and River Street between a black 2007 Chevrolet Impala and a silver 2011 Subaru Outback. The Impala pulled out and struck the Subaru on River Street. The Impala was towed.

Greenfield, May 29

4:14 p.m. – Police arrested Eva Herzig, 52, of Deerfield Street, on charges of intimidation of a witness. Police reported that Herzig made threats toward her son’s ex-girlfriend, who has a restraining order against her, including “gonna get you.” The incident was reported near Ruggeri’s.

Greenfield, June 1

4 p.m. – Police responded to an accident on High Street and Maple Street, where a motorcycle and a car crashed. One of the drivers complained of stomach pain after the accident. An ambulance responded to the scene.

6:29 p.m. – Police sent out a BOLO, a be on the lookout, for the daughter of a caller, who reported that the daughter had been cutting herself with a knife. The person called from Barron Road. A K9 responded to the scene and an Airwing out of Westfield also was called in. Police found a “bloody handprint” on the rear door at the corner of Barton and the Country Club. Officers then found the daughter and an ambulance transported her to the hospital.

Greenfield, June 2

1:27 a.m. – Police arrested Eric J. Boyer, 33, of Bayberry Court on charges of possession of a Class A drug, breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for a felony and for receiving a stolen credit card. Boyer was charged at 112 Leyden Road.

1:08 p.m – A hypodermic needle was reported outside the Salvation Army.
