GILL — Newcomer Shawn Hubert is replacing longtime Gill-Montague School Committee member Sandy Brown, as the town’s voters mostly chose to re-elect incumbents Monday.

Hubert defeated Brown, 1,050-821. In Montague, incumbent April Reipold and newcomer Cassie Damkoehler won the two seats as representatives, with 1,131 and 1,091 votes respectively. Michael Langknecht got 902 votes.

Town Clerk Lynda Hodgsen-Mayo said there were a total of 197 voters out of Gill’s 1,128 registered voters, for a turnout of 17 percent.

Greg Snedeker, running unopposed, won his Selectboard and Sewer Commissioner three-year term, with 153 votes. Hodgsen-Mayo said there were some write-ins in this race.

Pam Lester won a Board of Assessors three-year term and Bill Tomb won a two-year term Board of Assessors seat.

Incumbent Carrie Stevens won a three-year term Cemetery Commissioner.

The ballot also has three Constables for three-year terms, with incumbents Fred Chase II, Craig Gaudry, Fred Chase III winning those positions.

Incumbents Ed Galipault, who won a three-year terms for Board of Health, Megan Bathory-Peele, who won a term for Library Trustee and Veronica LaChance was selected as Tax Collector.

Brian Koshinski, is won one-year term as Tree Warden.
