5:13 p.m. — Daniel R. Turner, 57, of School Street in Greenfield was arrested by police on a warrant.

Greenfield, April 14

12:30 a.m. — A traffic stop outside of Open Air Market on Main Street led to the arrest of Randi L. Craib, 30, of Maple Street in Greenfield. He was arrested on charges of a warrant and for operating after his license or operation was revoked.

8:39 p.m. — A caller at Coombs Avenue reported an individual previously involved with law enforcement was upset after officers left, yelled obscenities and then reportedly ran over a child’s Pack ’n’ Play in the yard, nearly striking a child. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle, a gray 2016 Ford Fusion, was last seen going right by Athens Pizza onto Main Street.

Greenfield, April 15

1:20 a.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at the intersection of Main and Federal streets. The caller, driver of a brown 1999 Ford Escort, said he tapped the back of a green vehicle, the driver of which took his information and left. The caller reportedly didn’t receive any information.

Montague, April 18

11:06 a.m. — Report of a child about 10 years old hitchhiking near Scotty’s on Turners Falls Road. Officer located child, who was headed to skate park, and spoke with him.

Greenfield, April 19

4:10 p.m. — Benjamin A. Lopez, 20, of Greenfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Greenfield, April 21

4:04 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at Newell Court between a gray 2008 Honda Odyssey and a gray 2014 Toyota Tundra. The Toyota sustained damage to the bed’s passenger side and no damage was observed on the Honda.

7:11 p.m. — A traffic stop involving a black 2003 Buick Regal on the Route 2 bypass resulted in the arrest on a warrant of Oscar Marino Ramirez, 29, of Wells Street in Greenfield. He was found in possession of a Class A drug, a subsequent offense.

7:52 p.m. — A caller at a Maple Street apartment reported the theft of a Samsung Android tablet from the dining room table and an older iPhone 6 cell phone from the kitchen table while the apartment was unsecured.

Greenfield, April 22

1:18 p.m. — A caller near the Blessed Sacrament Church on Federal Street, reported some kids were destroying a vehicle, a blue 1999 Volkswagen Jetta, at this location. The responding officer discovered the vehicle’s owner was with friends beating the car before it was to be sent for scrap. The officer advised the owner to push the car back into his driveway and out of the church parking lot.

Greenfield, April 25

3:52 p.m. — Reports of an unwanted person on Conway Street led to the arrest of Thomas E. Mimitz, 24, on charges of breaking an entry of a building in the daytime and for larceny. Police reported Mimitz as homeless resident of Greenfield. 

5:49 p.m. — A traffic stop led to the arrest of Billy R. Berthiaume, 46, of Leyden Road, on charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of Class A and Class E drugs.
