COLRAIN — A meet-and-greet for Colrain candidates and voters will be held on Thursday, April 27, at the Griswold Memorial Library, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The election will be held on Monday, May 1, with polling located in the Town Office, 55 Main Road. Polling hours will be from noon to 7 p.m.
On the ballot, Assessor Jonathan Lagreze is running for re-election, challenged by Dwight Harrison.
Selectboard member Eileen Sauvageau is running for another three-year term, as a write-in, because her name was omitted from the ballot. Also Cheli Mennella is running for re-election to her seat as a Library Trustee as a write-in candidate.
Others running for office are: Kathryn “Kate” Barrows for a three-year seat on the Mohawk Trail Regional School District Committee, Jill Horton-Lyons, for re-election to her three-year seat as a Library Trustee; and Scott Sullivan, for re-election to a three-year term as Constable.
