BERNARDSTON — A public hearing held Wednesday concerning Hillside Pizza’s application to serve beer and wine went favorably for co-owner Craig White, with no opposition shown.
The Board of Selectmen had approved White’s application for his 77 Church St. establishment in February, but the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission requested a public hearing be held.
“I have never had better neighbors,” said Bernardston resident Celt Grant, who lives across the street from Hillside Pizza and attended the hearing in support of the license.
The license must now be approved by the ABCC.
